Yummy Easy Pudding Pops

Did you grow up eating those Jell-O Pudding Pops?  I definitely did – there’s nothing like them.  But these come pretty close.  The best part is that you can tailor them to your liking.  You can change the flavors, add some extras, and even make your own pudding to use in the pops!  Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed.

You will need ...

Step One

Make your pudding.  Whether you make your own or use a mix, get your pudding made a few hours prior to filling the popsicle molds so it has time to set.  Homemade pudding will need to chill before you can use it, so plan ahead.  You can choose to use one flavor or multiple flavors – it’s all up to you.

Step Two

If you are using add-ins like sprinkles or cookie crumbs, sprinkle a few in the bottom of the mold.  That way they are at the top of the pop when it comes out – makes it look kinda neat.

Step Three

I put the pudding in pastry bags to make it easier to fill the molds.  If you do not have pastry bags, you could fill zip-top bags, or you could just carefully spoon in the pudding.  Fill the molds with the pudding.  Alternate between flavors and add-ins so you get an even mix of everything.  Be careful not to over-fill the molds.

Step Four

Carefully place the top and sticks into the molds.  Freeze overnight or for a minimum of 5 hours.

Step Five

Remove the mold from the freezer.  Remove the pops from the molds.  If they do not release easily, I run a towel under hot water, then wrap the warm damp towel around the mold for a few seconds.  The pop should come right out.  Enjoy!
