Who hasn’t gotten sucked into the internet while searching for the answers to something? When I was a mom-to-be, I spent hours and hours researching anything and everything about babies. When the babies arrived, I spent every free moment looking for tips and tricks to make it “easier.” When the babies started moving, I spent a lot of time researching all kinds of things to make my days easier and better. Now, I spend a lot of time looking up arts and craft ideas, recipes, and lesson plans for things my kids are interested in. I realized it would be awesome to have a site that rolls all of those research hours into one place.
What you'll find
On this site, you can find some of my everyday recipes as well as some new and fun recipes to keep in your back pocket. There is also a section on holidays and decorating because there is not a single holiday that I am not willing to decorate for or celebrate. And “they” preach the importance of Me-Time, so there are also some book reviews to check out. I also spend a lot of time researching facts and corresponding activities for what my kids call “Mom School.” As a result, you’ll find a collection of lessons for little ones at home.

Emily grew up in Hawaii, then moved to Los Angeles. There, she met her husband while working at the first restaurant job she landed a few months before completing her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. Emily now lives with her husband and two young children and is a work at home mom. Her two kids attend a fantastic elementary school (teachers are amazing) where Emily regularly volunteers and also helps teach art.
