Looking for an easy fall craft for the kids? These easy paper pumpkins are quick to make and require few supplies. Make a bunch of them and decorate your house for the season!
Next, once all the circles have been folded, take one circle and apply a generous amount of glue to the outside flap of one side. Then, take another circle and attached the outside flap to the glue side of the first circle. Press firmly to stick them together. Repeat until all circles have been glued together. Let the glue set for a few minutes. If you have a clip handy, use it to keep the flaps together while they dry.
While the circles are drying, prepare the pipe cleaner. Take one full size green pipe cleaner and fold it in half. Wrap one of the ends around a pencil to curl. Leave about one inch of space at the bottom. Repeat with the other end. Then, tape the pipe cleaner to one end of the orange circle. This will be the pumpkin stem. Uncoil the pipe cleaner a bit to loosen the curl and make it look more natural.
Next, apply a generous amount of glue to the flap with the stem. Then, attach the other end flap to create a carousel of orange flaps. Clip it together for a few minutes to allow the glue to set. Once set, take the scissors and trim of a tiny bit from the bottom to create a flat edge. This will help the pumpkin to sit on the countertop.
