Full disclosure, I’m not a total oat bar person. I know oats are good for you. They are also a great source of fiber, which is something we all could use more of in our diets. Oats are also fairly inexpensive and easily accessible. I’m not really sure why I don’t like them – maybe I’ll have to change my tune. These bars might do the trick. They’re super easy and very satisfying. And you can make them ahead and keep them on hand as a quick snack!
Next, bake the bars in a 350 degree oven for about 30-35 minutes (depending on your oven). To finish it off, turn the oven on to broil and watch the top brown to a golden color. This should take about 3-4 minutes. Stay with them so the top does not burn. Immediately remove the pan from the oven and set aside to cool completely before slicing into bars.
Once sliced, I wrap them up individually and store them on the counter for about 3 days, or in the fridge for up to 5 days, or in the freezer for a few months. Enjoy!
